You must only use the Service against systems you own or have explicit written authorisation to assess. Unauthorised probing may breach the Computer Misuse Act 1990 (UK), the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (US), the Cybercrime Directive 2013/40/EU, and similar laws elsewhere.

You must not

• Scan or probe domains, IPs, or systems you do not own or have permission to test.
• Use the Service to conduct denial-of-service, exploit vulnerabilities, or bypass authentication or rate limits.
• Attempt to identify or de-anonymise other users of the Service.
• Upload malicious code, illegal content, or content that infringes IP rights.
• Resell scan results as an accredited certification.
• Use the Service to breach any law, sanctions regime, or third-party contract, or in countries subject to comprehensive UK/EU/US sanctions.
• Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or overwhelm the Service (rate limits apply).

Enforcement

We may throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy and, where required, report to law enforcement or affected third parties. Report abuse to abuse@cyberessentialcheck.co.uk.
