Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 23/07/2026
Cyber Essential Check Ltd is committed to making our web application accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, the UK Equality Act 2010, and the European Accessibility Act (2025).
Conformance status
The Service is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform. We test regularly and prioritise fixes for critical journeys (sign-up, scan, findings, evidence export).
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML, landmarks, and a visible skip-to-content link.
- Keyboard navigable with visible focus indicators.
- Colour contrast meets WCAG AA on all interactive elements.
- Form fields have programmatic labels; errors are announced.
- Icons carry text alternatives; decorative images use empty alt.
- Respects
prefers-reduced-motion.
Known limitations
- PDF exports may not yet be fully tagged for screen readers.
- Some complex data tables lack full sort/filter accessibility.
